Big Names Battle For 3rd State Senate District

KENTFIELD
(CBS 5) ― It's one of the most closely watched
political races in California, the battle for the 3rd State
Senate District. The district covers a sizable piece of San
Francisco, all of Marin County and a portion of Sonoma County.
Three Democratic heavyweights, incumbent Carole Migden,
Assemblyman Mark Leno and Joe Alioto Veronese, a member of the
San Francisco Police Commission are vying for the seat. The
candidates met on the same stage Thursday night.
